Summer Murals

In July, I did my first mural, which was in my sister's room. She wanted a beach theme, and released me to just attack the walls with whatever I wanted, so here's how it came out:

In August, my cousin, Laura Emelio, asked me to paint a portrait of herself as a ballerina on her bedroom wall. Capturing her face and figure in this rather difficult pose was a fun challenge. I camped out in her room for a good portion of the weekend while they were gone to Washington, listened to a book on tape, stole just a little bit of their food, and painted like a maniac.
